Nanopublication — "Autumn Leaves" Voicing Study
Claim 3: "Autumn Leaves" Voicing Study
This variation documents my exploration of G minor [1] voicings while working on Jerome Kern's "Autumn [2] Leaves" at the piano, part of my Synesthetic [3] Explorations collection.
Context
"Autumn Leaves" serves as the generative source for this exploration. Rather than depicting the song itself, I work with the G minor voicings that emerge from practicing the piece, translating the physical sensation of chord structures at the keyboard into visual composition. This study is part of the larger Synesthetic Explorations collection, which systematically translates composers including Rachmaninov, Chopin, Miles Davis, and Stravinsky through color.
